The short term fix could jumpstart the economy and provide long term jobs.  Like a company who gets a much needed cash infusion who can then survive and take it to the next level.

My concern is that &quot;our company&quot; doesn&#039;t have a good business plan and that short term cash infusion only puts it on life support and eventually it will go out of business and all the people lose their jobs anyway.

I just hear my elders advice always ringing in my ears. The ones who lived on farms, worked in the coalmines and owned their own businesses. Debt is bad.  Period. Suck it up, live less, and save for the future.  I had to learn the hard way the wisdom of those words.

I think our country needs to do the same.  A consumption based society is not healthy, we need to go back to producing...and living on what we make and socking away the rest.
